Its stacked defense protects the team even in Lostbelt-level content. Very little really needs to be done to buff it save maybe making it a triple-arts deck to fully synergize with stall teams but even that is icing on an already-great cake. * make Shield of Rousing Resolution's taunt a flat 300% like Amalgam Goad instead of scaling with skill level ==== Ortinax Loadout ==== Instead of half-assing it as a hybrid buster-arts support-attacker, just turn the Ortinax build into a buster attacker with some utility functions. Lostbelt content is NOT kind to indecisive skillsets, defeating the purpose of giving Mash a new form in the first place. Also allow players to swap Mash between her Galahad and Ortinax loadouts freely based on their playstyle. * give Mash a QABBB deck in this loadout * incorporate Black Barrel's ignore-defense into Bunker Bolt ** boost its stipulation to 3 attacks, 5 turns (+2 attacks, +2 turns compared to current) so she can take advantage of it with all her buster cards * either boost Amalgam Goad's NP charge to 50% [i]or[/i] turn it into 400% NP gain like Shield of Rousing Resolution * remove the HP demerit from Shield of Tragic Heroism * change Mold Camelot to Buster; it's not doing any favors as an Arts NP on an already-buster-heavy build - at least let it make buster brave chains! ** if her damage is still lacking, replace the damage-cut component with damage-up component, solidifying her as an attack-buffing support to contrast with her other (defensive) loadout === Artoria Pendragon (Saber Lily) === Turn her into a welfare servant that [i]all[/i] accounts get when they start out and make her actually scale well as a starter unit. == Generic Skills == === Imperial Privilege === * turn the skill into a passive (remove it from active skills) * make it a mediocre omni-buff that gives multiple class passive effects at lowered values (eg: Riding, Magic Resistance, Madness Enhancement, etc) ** in keeping with the lore in Nero's profile, give it Divinity's bonus damage effect at ranks A and above == Sabers == === Nero Claudius === * add a debuff cleanse that triggers when any of the guts from Invictus Spiritus activates * replace Imperial Privilege with Love to the People (Nero Bride's heal and defense buff) == Archers == === Atalanta === Atalanta (Alter) should be removed as a separate character and incorporated into normal Atalanta's kit with the ability to switch mid-combat like Melusine. * remove Atalanta (Alter) as a separate character and make it her third ascension with Taurapolos as her NP * move the NP gain effect from Caldyonian Hunt to Crossing Arcadia * incorporate Demonic Habituation's star-dump and buster-crit-up as well as Wild Beast's Logic's crit-up into Art of the Hunt * rename Calydonian Hunt with Agrias Metamorphosis ** have it shift Atalanta to her third ascension, including her NP, and grant her Berserker class affinity[br](this means she's still an archer even in third ascension normally, only gaining berserker advantage/disadvantage when this skill is used) === James Moriarty === * Remove the crit star prerequisite from The Extremity of Spiderwebs. Lip-service to a demerit and an arbitrary prerequisite for skill use are complexity for complexity's sake. * rename his bond CE to "The Napoleon of Crime"; his NP is alreay called The Dynamics of an Asteroid === Orion === A complete overhaul is in order. Both so that Artemis' kit isn't just a worse version of Euryale and to give actual focus to her and Orion's legends as expert hunters. See this page. == Lancers == === Kiyohime (Summer) === Remove and consolidate some of her skill effects into her berserker form.[br](see that section for details) === Leonidas I === In a world where Leonidas isn't written-off as 1-star fodder whose only purpose is to make solo runs possible, buff his kit to make him a good retaliatory defender with some actual damage reduction. Because Thermopylae Enomotia is a buster NP, this meshes well with Mash's reworked Ortinax loadout (see her section). * add a damage buff that triggers every time when attacked during his NP turn * add a passive defense buff (or damage cut) to his max bond CE that scales with the number of Stout Defenders currently fielded ** Lakshmibai, Trung Sisters, Barghest (summer only), Benkei, Leonidas, Vlad (both types), Constantine ** add the Stout Defender trait to: Mash, Jeanne d'Arc == Riders == === Artoria Pendragon (Maid Alter) === As it stands, Maid Alter is both a worse version of 'toki Rider AND an expriment gone awry - a quick buff split between two skills, cooldown redux with a demerit that it regrets even having, bare-bones effects at impotent values. Turning her into a quick, rider version of Squirtoria would help both separate her from being seen as a badly copied Kintoki as well as make her kit more potent overall. That's not to say Kintoki won't still be a better version of her in her own role but at least she won't look like a soulless clone that doesn't even function. * drop quick buff from Summer Sweeper ** replace with an NP gen self buff * remove the HP demerit and subsequent compensation from Coaching * improve Reloaded's quick buff to be 3 turns and as potent as Squirotira's arts buff ** add a battery effect * swap Secace Morgan's NP refund with crit chance debuff ** crit chance down was not potent enough to justify being the (only) overcharge effect ** this makes NP refund its overcharge effect, putting it in line with other Artoria forms === Marie Antoinette === * make the charm portion of Timbre of Regality an AOE * add a very minor amount of np gain boost to Princess of Loveliness so that Marie isn't finishing all-caster farming waves with 48% charge half the time! === Martha === * allow Protection of Faith to be used even when stunned (or otherwise CCed) * change her version of Tarasque to arts or give her a 2A/2B deck == Casters == === Charles Babbage === Babbage's kit is actually a simple fix. He wants to be an offensive caster and has disjointed skills. Replace his debuff-boosting passive (for which only World of Steam's overcharge even factors into), shuffle some effects around, and boost his attack. * buff his base attack * replace Item Construction (False) with Territory Creation * remove NP gain buff from Single-Mindedness ** add a "turn all own command cards to buster" to Single-Mindedness * add an NP battery effect to Mechanized Armor * rename Steam Engine Output Rising to Steam Explosion or Overload (Steam); the name is dumb, even when abbreviated to S.E.O.R. ** reduce the NP damage buff back down to 1 turn ** move its star dump effect to Babbage's NP as its overcharge effect * change World of Steam's defense debuff to a flat 20% === Elizabeth Bathory (Halloween) === Elizabeth Castory suffers from the early-game design philosophy that welfare servants were trophies, not units. To separate her from her counterparts, we'll turn her into a consistent burn unit to go with indirect damage-over-time strats like curse, poison, and other burns. * remove Halloween Encore's crit star dump and NP battery; add on-attack burn to Eli's normal attacks (3 turns) * change the curse on Bathory Halloween Erzsebet to burn so it synergizes with the Spreading Fire status === Sieg === * increase NP gain buff on Man-made Hero (False) so he more reliably refunds * increase Magecraft's arts buff duration to 3 turns to up his consistent damage === Nitocris === Her only issue is that her chance for instant-death in her NP impedes looping. * change the chance to insta-kill in her NP to activate AFTER damage is dealt so she can refund reliably == Assassins == === Cleopatra === Change her into a Koyanskaya-compatible buster looper. * replace Golden Rule (Wealth & Body)'s NP gain up and NP-per-turn effects with a flat 50% NP battery ** reduce its cooldown to 8 turns default (6 at max skill level) === Hassan of the Hundred Faces === Just a lore-flavor buff. * rename Battle Retreat to Backup Body (or something in that ballpark) ** grants self guts status (no expiration, resurrect HP value same as current heal value) ** on guts trigger, cleanse debuffs from self but adds a permanent and unremovable attack down that stacks the more this skill is used === Mysterious Heroine X === * add new passive skill Saber Slayer that grants 20% damage against Saber-class servants[br](or whatever value is needed to stack with her Lv 10 append to give 1.5x damage against Sabers, this way she has pseudo-class advantage over Sabers in the same way Kiara has pseudo-advantage over Rulers) === Sasaki Kojiro === Kojiro needs help with survivability and continued DPS. These should make him more viable while still being a 1-star, and may make him a beast in Grail Fronts. * upgrade Mind's Eye to a new skill: Swordmaster's Parry ** add a 3-turn defense buff (turning it into a combination of Mind's Eye Fake and Mind's Eye True) * reshuffle the effects of his second skill, third skill, and noble phantasm to better facilitate consistent DPS: ** Vitrify: removes own debuffs, increases C. star drop rate, 1-turn quick buff (quick Mana Burst) ** Knowledge of the Sowa: increase C. star gather, star dump, and add debuff "reduce enemy quick resistance when attacking with quick cards" ** Tsubame Gaeshi: apply sure hit (activates first), damages a single enemy, overcharge provides star dump === Scathach (Summer) === Scathach's summer form can stand to be made compatible with Skadi looping. Even in lore, they're always going around causing mayhem as twins. * replace the NP battery on Beach Climax with a 3-turn NP gain up (turn it into Golden Rule) * extend the quick buff portion of Midsummer Faux Pas to 3 turns (to parallel Parvati) === Semiramis === Why do they keep making servants that have a 3A deck and a Buster NP? She also doesn't play much into her "queen of poison" theme. Granted she didn't display it much in Fate/Apocrypha's anime but we CAN add what she did do. * replace Familiar (Pigeon)'s debuff resist down with a buff block effect instead * replace the NP gain buff in Double Summon with a 3-turn Arts buff * remove the crit star tax from Sikera Usum ** replace its buster resist down effect with a very high debuff to healing received * change Hanging Gardens of Babylon to arts * completely replace her bond CE's effect with: chance to inflict poison when normal attacking === Stheno === Stheno's kit is a complete non-starter. She has potential to be an anti-rider unit and male charm-locker. The following kit should make her at least decent at chiseling down units over time, especially in boss situations. * change Stheno's deck to QQABB ** allows her to buster brave chain with her NP ** retains 2Q which retains a focus on quick when teamed with Euryale and Medusa * increase Stheno's quick and buster hit count so she actually generates crit stars * make Siren's Song AOE and add a 3-turn defense debuff * add a passive called Femme Fatale that increases damage dealt to charmed enemies * complete overhaul to Smile of the Stheno: ** remove enemy buffs, reduce enemy defense (3 turns) ** chance to inflict death if target is male ** OVERCHARGE: grant self chance to charm male enemies with normal attacks (3 turns) == Berserkers == === Atalanta (Alter) === Consolidate w/ her Archer version. (See that version for details.) === Florence Nightingale === Nightingale has the unfortunate role of berserker support. Because of her glaring defensive weakness, a non-damaging noble phantasm, and the inability to perform buster brave chains, she needs to relinquish her paltry damage for better self-defense.
