* As Wario is mostly a loner in his first few adventures throughout the Wario Land series, most of his support spirits are enemies rather than allies. (Note that these are meant to be in addition to all of his friends from the Wario Ware series that already exist as spirits in Ultimate.)
** A good number of these enemies also serve as Captain Syrup's roster of henchmen, making them allies of hers instead.
